Fellow Triiibe member here. One thing that might help you with your dilemma could be having more than one blog. I'd find where the two things you write about the most intersect, and keep that theme for this blog (as long it's related to technology.) Then pour all your energy into that, until you have a regular base.
Then you could spin the other topic out into a new blog. Tell Yaro I said hi, he's been a good blog pal to me. :)

Thanks for the comment. I think I'm sort of going in the direction you are suggesting. I have some other blogs that I am working on, I just wanted to shift focus of this one slightly while still staying in technology.

Another fellow Triiibe member here :-) I specialed during my master on Data Mining and Information Visualization, and allthough I am not doing much in that direction anymore, it still has a warm place in my heart. So I am looking forward to your posts in that direction. Good luck with your blog!
